Assessing value for money is about how well resources are being used and to what extent the investment was worth the money.

Demonstrating the value for money of public investments such as the Newton Fund and GCRF is very important as it involves spending taxpayers’ money to benefit developing countries. 

Our approach

We are working with Tetra Tech, our partners and stakeholders to develop a rigorous and transparent value for money assessment of our funds that takes account of the complex nature of research and innovation for development.
